The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a disaster relief center organized by APO, fronted by the NYPD, after the power went up. There your character will be able to stay somewhere with power and heat, as well as blankets, food, clean water and medical supplies. All the while, you will also be surrounded by some of the greatest art history has ever produced. Don’t break the culture. Someone would be very upset.

The compound in Palmyra, MO is a compound designed to be self-sufficient. With solar panels, generators and a well-stocked medical room. Originally put together by Gregory House and James Wilson before they respectively disappeared, Lawrence Kutner took over the running of the place, and took in some people along the way.

The compound itself is a large farmhouse with a few bedrooms, and a library/office used as a medical wing. There are also a couple smaller, adjacent houses with smaller bedrooms and a large barn with farming equipment. If you want to start growing your own food, more power to you.

"Pennyville" is a small neighborhood in Red Bluff, CA. Penelope Jones is in the process of clearing out an entire street for people to live in, as well as gathering supplies to feed and take care of them. At the moment, they're working their way towards gardens so that they can have fresh fruit and vegetables, but for right now, they're working off canned food and whatever non-perishables were left behind in the houses.
